Will Lawrence

Will brings a passion for client service to Wylie-Crump, and ensures that clients have a clear understanding of risk issues and their considerations. 

Will has broad experience of property and construction insurance having spent over fifteen years in the industry, and has managed numerous insurance programs for large real estate and construction firms of various disciplines across North America.   

A member of the Vancouver Regional Construction Association U40 committee and former Vice President of a global brokerage firm; Will holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin, Ireland and a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation from Simon Fraser University; he is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) in London, UK and a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP). 

Nolan Heuchert

Nolan facilitates risk transfer alternatives and provides independent risk management advice for several construction and design industry clients.

As a former senior officer and construction practice leader for a large international insurance brokerage firm, Nolan has engaged in a broad range of complex domestic and international insurance programs, as well as several P3 projects in British Columbia.  Nolan’s extensive knowledge of both the insurance and construction industries is a highly valued resource and appreciated by owners and contractors alike.

An active member of several local and national construction and design industry associations, Nolan is the current chair of the Risk Management Committee for the Canadian Design-Build Institute, a chapter of the Canadian Construction Association.

Nolan holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Saskatchewan, with Canadian Risk Management (CRM) and Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designations from Simon Fraser University.

Pina Camerin

Pina brings vast amounts of knowledge and experience in a multitude of different areas including risk management and Surety to Wylie-Crump.

Pina is one of the country’s leading experts in construction risk and developer performance security. She provides practical advice and ideas around relevant risk issues to help optimize the delivery of regional, national and international developments and projects. Pina has a distinguished track record working with many of the regions most reputable and active firms. She brings a passion for client service and will ensure clients have a clear understanding of project risk issues and their considerations, along with an optimal surety program.  Pina was previously Senior Vice President of a global brokerage firm where she spent over three decades.   

Graham Sibbald

Fiercely competitive and passionate about client service. These traits best describe Graham and the value he brings to his clients and Wylie-Crump.

Graham has always believed in hard work, an attention to detail and an unwavering client focus. At Wylie-Crump Graham applies this philosophy towards managing and maintaining the quality and integrity of his client’s insurance and risk management programs. This focus is equally applied at Wylie-Crump in his role as Director and Partner.

With a bachelor of arts degree from the University of British Columbia Graham embarked on a career in the insurance business spending fifteen years working at two of the world’s largest insurance brokerages and the past several years as a proud independent broker. Over Graham’s twenty year career he has Implemented complex commercial, industrial and development programs as well as managed high frequency and severity casualty risks. Graham has further developed both Owner and Contractor controlled insurance programs on numerous Civil and social infrastructure P3 Projects across Canada.

Graham holds an undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia, a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designations and a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designations from Simon Fraser University.

Shaun Johnston

Specializing in risk advisory and insurance brokerage services for the construction, real estate, and design industries, Shaun brings a breadth of experience and knowledge to Wylie-Crump.

With over 15 years experience managing complex insurance programs and accounts, Shaun delivers practical advice with a collaborative and a reliable service approach. Shaun’s clients have included firms with diverse regional, national and international operations. He has also provided advisory and insurance placement services for many of Western Canada’s infrastructure projects including both design-build and PPP project delivery methods. Prior to his work at Wylie-Crump, Shaun founded and led the Canadian construction and development insurance arm of an international company and held executive roles as Vice President and Manager of the Construction and Development Unit for a global insurance brokerage firm.    

An active member of the Urban Development Institute, Vancouver Regional Construction Association, BC Roadbuilders & Heavy Construction Association & BC Construction Roundtable. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance & Risk Management from the University of Calgary, a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, and a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation. 

Brian Lawson

Brian manages all surety programs and placements for construction clients and select mining companies.

Beginning his surety career as an underwriter in 1990, Brian acted as the Western regional surety manager of a large Canadian insurance company and vice-president of an international insurance brokerage firm before becoming a Partner and Director at Wylie-Crump.

Experienced in a number of complex domestic and international surety programs in the construction and mining sectors, Brian’s been a proven asset to his clients helping them increase work volume, managing project risk and growing their business.

A past chair of the Surety Association of Canada, and an active member of the BC Road Builders Association, Vancouver Regional Construction Association and ICBA, Brian was instrumental in the BC government negotiations leading to the acceptance of bonds as an approved form of security for reclamation obligations.
